Sangeet Visharad from Gandharva MahaVidyalaya , M.A, M.Phil ,Ph.D. in music from Delhi University. He has been performing his classical concert and light music. In connection with his classical & light music performances had the opportunity of visiting Srilanka, Pakistan, Thailand and other parts of the world. As a talented and versatile artist he possesses a melodious voice which ranges for three octaves. His rendering of Khayal, Tarana, Ashtpadi has a stamp of tradition plus his own innovation. As a Classical Vocalist he is a follower of Gwalior Gharana and is presently under the tutelage of his Guru Pandit Laxman Krishnarao Pandit – Doyen of Gwalior Gharana for the last 15 yrs. Besides classical music he is also at ease singing light music like- Geet, Ghazal, Bhajans and Old filmy songs from the Golden Era which he presents in an Artistic way.

He has done his M.Phil research on “rendition of jayadeva’s Ashtpadi in khayal style in Gwalior tradition”. He has done research for his PhD from Delhi University on the “Role of the music festivals in promoting the Hindustani classical music”. He has given special programs for the K.l.Saigal memorial circle and many other esteemed organization for Paying tribute to singer artists like K.L.Saigal, C.H Atma, Surender nath, Jagmohan,Talat Mahmood, Hemant kumar and many more.
